OFFICIAL RACE CHARITY
We are proud to support Trafford South Foodbank who help local people in crisis, ensuring they have access to emergency food supplies and appropriate support.
There will be a Foodbank donation point on race day, please do bring a tin of food to donate. We will announce on our social media pages in the 2 weeks leading up to the race a list of items the Foodbank are short of, and any other ways you can help – by putting your tin in a carrier bag so that the bag can then be used to prepare the meal bag for a family.
ECO WATER 🥤
In a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint and do our bit to save the planet, we have introduced a bring your own water bottle (pre-filled) to place at the finish area for the end of the race. Completely optional, but every person who brings their own bottle of water is helping to save the planet one small step at a time.
Bottled water will be provided, as usual, for anyone who doesn’t bring their own. We do use a responsible supplier for our water (as well as being ZERO to landfill), their bottles are made out of 51% recycled plastic and are 100% recyclable.
