Inov-8 MudTalon Speed for men is a brand new model from Inov-8 where they took the best of two icons MudClaw and X-Talon while adding several improvements in all parts. MudTalon Speed with a lighter upper, thinner midsole and its 8 mm rubber studs like when it's wet, dirty or muddy and you want to run fast. Their new generation of shoes that now follows the natural shape of the foot increases comfort, the new PowerFlow Pro midsole provides more bounce and cushioning, more protection, better grip.
The midsole has been upgraded to Inov-8's PowerFlow Pro which is very light and has higher comfort, this model has a lower midsole than the MudTalon and provides even more close to the ground feel and more control. Integrated into the midsole is a rock-plate that protects against the impact of stones, branches and sharp rock edges.
The upper comes in a completely new anatomical foot-shaped design that really embraces the foot while giving it room in the front and a tighter fit in the heel, which means that the foot is really stuck. The wider front provides extra grip and control when running. The upper part is made of a durable rip stop material and is extremely light at the same time as it has very good drainage of water, which keeps the shoes light and comfortable all the time.
The outsole is made of Inov-8's classic Stickygrip rubber, which we know grips really well. There are several 8mm long rubber studs with a slightly sparser pattern giving a really good grip in wetter terrain while removing dirt quickly to maintain grip.
